Antonio Castellanos

Antonio Castellanos has a B.Sc. in Information Systems and Business Engineering from Monterrey Institute of Technology. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the Technion advised by Prof. Galit Yom-Tov. His research is focused on building models to overcome information uncertainty in contact centers.

 

 

Monika Westphal

Monika Westphal has a B.A. in Business Administration with Tourism and Hospitality Management, from the Dual State University Ravensburg in Germany. While studying for her first degree, she worked as a trainee in various departments in a 5-star luxury hotel in Bavaria, Germany. After finishing her first degree in 2014, she decided to pursue graduate studies in Israel. Before she came to the Technion, she took several research and statistic courses, as psychology-related courses at the IDC in Herzliya, and studied Hebrew intensively. In 2015, Monika joined the SEE-Lab team, and in 2017 completed her M.Sc. in Behavioral Sciences at the Technion under the supervision of Prof. Anat Rafaeli and Dr. Galit B. Yom-Tov. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Behavioral Science at the Technion, advised by Prof. Anat Rafaeli and Prof. Galit B. Yom-Tov.

 

 

Shelly Ashtar

Shelly Ashtar has a BA in Psychology and Multidisciplinary Studies from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a MSc in Behavioral and Management Sciences- Organizational Psychology from the Technion.

In her M.Sc. thesis Shelly focused on the connection between customer emotions, work demands and employee withdrawal behaviours. M.Sc. thesis title: “The Impact of Operational Load on Agent Withdrawal Behaviour in Service Systems”. (Link:  Shelly M.Sc. Thesis)

Shelly is currently a Ph.D. student, jointly supervised by Prof. Anat Rafaeli and Prof. Galit Yom-Tov. She studies the effect of customer behaviors on service systems.

Daniel Altman

Daniel Altman is a Ph.D. candidate at the Industrial Engineering and Management Faculty at the Technion. He has a B.A in Psychology Sociology and Anthropology from the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College and an M.Sc. in Organizational Psychology from the Technion. His M.Sc. thesis, advised by Prof. Anat Rafaeli and Prof. Galit Yom-Tov, explored the effects of expressed customer emotion in service systems on consequent employee performance and behaviour using Big-Data. (Link: Daniel M.Sc.
